I am Gonbravo ( name changed)...Here i am writing about how i got in to telecom career program conducted by bsnl - faithinfotech , techno park @ RTTC trivandrum..This my personal experience.

Let me introduce my self,I m a ECE fresher @ Chennai.I accept that i m a average skilled person like u ppl.Actually u all knows its a recession period but many says its over.Any way but recruitment seems to be less compared to previous 2 or 3 years back.In my college only around 10 are placed that too 80 % and above ppl . i m reaching to 70 % .I wrote AIEEE , IIT , Indian air force , Indian navy , CUSAT , BITS Bilani , GATE , 3 companies screening test like that.All failed in the screening test itself ha ha ha ha.I found my self that i m a average skill person after writing GATE and average communication skill in English.. WOOoooooooooo.............

I found the Telecom career program conducted by bsnl & faith infotech @ techno park , RTTC trivandrum through the news from the leading news paper 'THE HINDU' that too my friend showed me.Some of my friend including myself planned to applying for this Telecom career program.But only i applied and none of my friend applied.My test center at Chennai.It was a week holiday for me and i came to my home town Coimbatore . On looking my mail @ 11 pm night i was shocked cauz the Telecom career program test on tomorrow @ Chennai and me in Coimbatore.I planned not to attend and i was in confusion that this bsnl Telecom career program worthful .......

Telecom career program venue

I woke up at 7 am and i set my mind not to attend it and finally my father told me just for the sake of experience attend it.You ppl wont believe. I didn't even prepared well.Venue at 9 am CD Nayagam arts and science college @ Coimbatore.I went there finally and time was 9.30 am ha ha ha.I thought to go away.But i remembered my father advice and made up my mind and entered in.To my surprise the test just started when i entered.The day i believed once again that there is a God.I thought as if all waiting for the arrival of me ha ha ha.I didn't prepared well.Also always i m having bad luck on screening test itself.I prayed to God and started writing the test.

Telecom training program screening test & pattern

Telecom training test pattern and syllabus as if like gate ( but less difficulty ) which covers basic of circuits , telecom oriented questions , general mathematics like probability like that , Aptitude questions totally 60 around + writing skill test means they asked 3 question and we have write it.they asked why u want to enter in telecom side like that.any one can write about that kind of silly questions .

Ok come to our topic...................I wrote the telecom training program test and waited for the result till 1 pm noon.To my surprise i qualified in the telecom career program screening test with score 88 it seems cauz of no negative marks.Its purely a luck i thought.First time i m qualifying a screening round . I attended the personal interview..........................

On the interview,

I had a little bit hope cauz i was having a very good resume with me.I prayed to God and entered once again.

The interview is just a HR round they asked about myself .you have to say fluently without any mistake .

Tell me about ur curricular activities ?..i attended many nation level symposiums so it was a easy question for me to answer.

whats ur aim ? careful in this question they cross checked my resume when i said.

And finally they said the result will be declared after 1 months for July 2010 batch

telecom career program result

I have no hope that i will be selected.After 1 month the TCP result announced,i was in a waiting list and finally got selected.They have selected only 60 for each 3 batch so totally 180 out of total south India engineering students + final year students.

In my test center @ Coimbatore itself there came more than 500 student.

telecom training program

It was said that they will provide very good training for candidates which cover every aspects of telecom industry needs.But the thing is we have to pay approx 55000 for the training program (taxes).They says that every 180 will get placement in Private telecom & not in Bsnl.I m in confusion whether to make telecom career with bsnl advantage.

I m googling for positive answer.If it is positive i will pursue that costly course else i will do ME or MBA by saving that money......I m waiting.....PLz do comments..abt this career program.

BSNL Info Tech Telecom Career Program 2010

Telecom Career Program is an integrated full-time programme of four months (16 weeks) duration, covering all aspects of telecom technology, beginning with the fundamentals of Telecom Technology and the conventional technologies like GSM and CDMA and advancing to the latest technologies like 3G, WiMAX, Broadband, MPLS VPN and Next Generation Networks. In addition the program covers key conceptual skills needed for being an effective telecom professional. These include knowledge and skills in problem solving, decision making, project management and service quality management. There are also various other skills such as communication skills and soft skills, which are covered as an integral part of the Telecom Career Program Participants develop knowledge and practical skills in the core Telecom modules through concept sessions, practical work and field exposure under the guidance of BSNL engineers.

The program is conducted by BSNL in association with Faith InfoTech at advanced training facilities at BSNL-RTTC and Technopark, Trivandrum. State-of-the-art infrastructure at BSNL-RTTC, including equipment for training in 3G technologies is unmatched by any commercial telecom training centres in India.

On completion of the program, participants will have an opportunities to work with leading organizations in the telecom sector, including telecom equipment manufacturers, telecom service providers, managed serviced providers, infrastructure support companies and value added service providers.

Selection Process

Selection for the Telecom Career Program is based on the candidate’s academic record and performance in Telecom Career Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. The Telecom Career Aptitude Test would consist of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English and Basic Electronics.

The selection process starts with the candidates filling in theOnline Application Form.

# Branches: Electronics (all streams – ECE, AE, E&I), Electrical (EEE, EE), Computer Science, IT.
# Final year students may also appear for the Selection Test and opt for batches commencing after completion of their final exams.
